rowtone
a home for projects that make the internet feel like yours again.
rowtone is an independent software company. we build social apps for people with taste: places to keep what you love, share it with the people you choose, and find others who care about the same things.
projects
an iPhone app that turns what you listen to, watch, read, notice and save into a printed magazine made only for you.
over a few months you collect songs, shows, films, books, photos, notes and links. when an issue fills up, it closes and you can order it as a single printed copy, mailed to your door. share entries with friends or keep them private.

why
the big social networks were built to keep you scrolling. a lot of people with real taste in music, film, books and ideas have stopped enjoying them.
we build smaller, more deliberate products for those people, one project at a time.
